‘FOR WHEN THE STARVING RETURN’ BY SPOTTED FAWN PRODUCTIONS INC.



‘For When The Starving Return’ is a stop motion short film directed by Amanda Strong. It takes place in an apocalyptic version of the Northwest Territories, in a time where the Wheetago army rises. We follow the story through the eyes of the strong willed genderfluid Dene called Dove, who uses their power as a Two Spirited person to find their place in this world.

I worked on animating the 3D model of the main character Dove - those animations were used to make reflections in the water. I worked on bringing to life an army of 3D modeled frogs - creating jumps, idle movements, ribits and breathing. Using geometry nodes, I created endless versions of environments and models used in the environment, including trees, plants, snow effects, gates and bugs.



‘SPIRIT BEAR 4’ BY SPOTTED FAWN PRODUCTIONS INC.
‘Spirit Bear 4’ is the fourth short film in the stop motion educational short-series called Spirit Bear, directed by Amanda Strong, in collaboration with The Caring Society. The films are adaptations of the books carrying the same name, Spirit Bear. The purpose of the Spirit Bear project is to spread knowledge and awareness through diverse formats, and create a widespread movement for equity  for First Nation kids.

I worked on different 3D environments using geometry nodes, that were used for the background of the scenes. I also worked on compositing in After Effects, hiding stop motion skeletons, layering different elements to create a full scene, create set extensions, particle systems, keylight, rotoscoping, motion tracking, lighting and coloring.

‘ANOUSCHKA’ BY ADO ATO PICTURES


‘Anouschka’ is an AR mobile game directed by Tamara Shogaolu, that takes place in the Bijlmermeer in Amsterdam. In this interactive story, we follow a Black teenager that plays the violin - as she embarks on a magical journey of self-discovery through time and space.

I worked on the building of the environments, both for the AR mobile game (put together in Unity) and for the 3D rendered scenes (done in Blender).  I worked on designing and perfecting the textures, specifically this paper texture that we used to give the environment a stop motion feeling. I also worked on light, composition, camera, rigging, special effects and animation.





‘WHERE THERE IS LIGHT’ BY ADO ATO PICTURES
‘Where There Is Light’ is an interactive installation that was developed by Tamara Shogaolu. It merges mental wellness with nature through technology by allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a colorful, digital rainforest. The exhibition took place in the Westerkerk in Amsterdam during ADE 2022.

I worked on building a 3D model to scale of the Westerkerk in which the exhibition would take place. Then I worked on making a mock-up 3D version of the exhibition, which was used as a base after which the real exhibition was built. I also worked on preparing the point clouds of the panama forest for the VFX.


‘THE REMIX’ BY ADO ATO PICTURES
‘The Remix’ is an unreleased AR mobile app that was concepted by Tamara Shogaolu. It combines art and social media.

I worked on the in-app 3D visuals, designing and texturing objects that could be changed and edited by users, and celebration animations.


‘UNTITLED PANAMA PROJECT’

This is an unreleased art exhibition concepted by Tamara Shogaolu. It is inspired by the bus culture of Panama.
I worked on cleaning up 3D scanned objects, and sculpting baby hands using Blender. I then rigged and moved the joints of the hand, placing them into the desired position for the exhibition.


‘WHERE THERE IS LIGHT 2.0’ BY ADO ATO PICTURES

This is an unreleased art exhibition concept that is a different version of ‘Where There Is Light’, making use of a mobile AR app that makes the exhibition interactive.
I worked on building a mock-up of this version of the exhibition, creating a point cloud filter for the trees, creating transparency textures and working on particle systems.

‘CAN’T SLEEP’

This is a VR game made by Nemes Barnabas for his graduation project from the Master of the MOME University in Hungary.
I worked on modeling, UV mapping and texturing the furniture and trees, and preparing them for Unity.

This was a quick social media animation that was concepted by me during my internship at Stolen Goods. The company it was made for is called Urban Arrow, a business that makes electric cargo bikes.

‘HAPPY COCO!’ BY STOLEN GOODS
This was a quick social media animation that was concepted by me during my internship at Stolen Goods. The company it was made for is called Happy Coco!, a business that makes products that are completely vegan, organic and sustainable.
I modeled, rigged and animated the cow in Autodesk Maya. I added a layer of 2D animation on top, using Animate CC and After Effects.
